Our Campus & Facilities

WELCOME TO TREVERTON

Nestled in between the lush farmlands of Mooi River, on the R103 – just minutes from the N3 and Mooi River CBD, five hours from Johannesburg and two hours from Durban.

Spread over 270 hectares, our campus includes innovative learning and sports facilities and, at the same time, features that reflect our rural setting – wide open spaces, ovals, dams, large fields, multi-sport buildings, an equestrian centre and the impressive Treverton Wildlife Area.

Our campus has three clearly defined areas for each of our ‘schools’. This gives our learners a sense of space as they progress through their schooling journey.

Pre-Preparatory Campus

TREVERTON PRE-PREP: GRADE 000 — R

Our Pre-Preparatory campus is built explicitly for active minds and busy bodies with inviting classrooms, outdoor play facilities and flexible learning spaces.

Preparatory Campus

TREVERTON PREP: GRADE 1-7

Our Preparatory School holds a historical account of our school's journey through the ages. Many of the historical first buildings of Treverton, many of which have been repurposed. Classrooms and learning spaces congregate around the Prep Quad amongst established oak and plane trees. Our Learning Hub hosts libraries, STEM labs, Art labs and collaborative learning areas to inspire greater depths of learning. Three sporting fields surround the built classrooms and many staff residential houses. A learn-to-swim pool and four tennis courts complement the sporting facilities at the Prep.

College Campus

TREVERTON COLLEGE: GRADE 8-12

Our College is situated on a slope extending into a valley of farmlands. Classroom blocks host many subjects: science and computer laboratories, a Visual Art Studio, a technology lab, music practice rooms and more. A lively library provides study rooms and a space to unwind quietly during break and after school. A sporting pavilion overlooks multiple sports fields and our Astroturf. A picturesque dam is the centre of kayaking lessons, open-water swimming, a zip-line and the infamous polar bear challenge.

Treverton Wildlife Area

The Treverton Wildlife Area is home to herds of Zebra and Blesbok and popular trail running and mountain biking trails. The Treverton Equestrian Centre comfortably hugs the boundary of the school campus, with adequate stabling options, paddocks, dressage arenas, show jumping arenas and cross-country courses.
