TREVERTON COLLEGE: GRADE 8-12

At Treverton, learning is a combined effort between academic, social and emotional interaction. Academic learning is strengthened and enhanced when learners have a healthy understanding of themselves and a well-developed Emotional Quotient or EQ.

Students have regular mentor group sessions, where an assigned staff member facilitates conversation around topics that affect teenagers’ understanding of the world around them. Mentors are also responsible for the general well-being of the group of learners allocated to them. The learners are grouped according to their grade and gender, as we acknowledge that needs differ at various stages of life. Mentors have an all-round view of their mentees and work with the Academic Heads, Head of House, Teachers, Parents, and Sports Coaches to support the learners in every aspect of their College life.
